CYCLING (STREET)

Cycling is popular in Winnipeg, especially as the city expands and develops bike lanes. In Street Cycling, athletes ride on paved roadways and compete to be the fastest. There are two street cycling venues and four street cycling competitions taking place including, Criterium, Road Race, Time Trials and Sprint.
August 1 & 2 at Birds Hill Provincial Park
Birds Hill Provincial Park is one of our Manitoba venues. It is 25 minutes northeast of downtown Winnipeg. In addition to cycling, it is a venue for cross country.
Time Trials will take place at Birds Hill Provincial Park on August 1st.
Road Race will take place at Birds Hill Provincial Park on August 2nd.
July 29 & 30 at Red River Exhibition Park
Red River Exhibition Park is one of our West Winnipeg venues. It is located 30 minutes away from downtown Winnipeg.
Criterium will take place at Red River Exhibition Park on July 29th.
Sprint will take place at Red River Exhibition Park on July 30th.
