SURFING
Surfing will take place in the United States. It is a sport where people use boards to balance while they ride the waves. The first major surf contest was held in 1928.
July 13 -14 at Waikiki Beach
Waikiki beach is located on the south shore of Honolulu. The surfing event takes place before the Games officially begin in Winnipeg so competitors who wish to compete in surfing can also make it to Winnipeg.
