ICE HOCKEY
Ice Hockey is Canada’s national sport, and given how long our Winnipeg winters are, it is very popular in the city. Ice hockey involves trying to get the puck in your opponent's net and requires speed, hand eye coordination, and strength. Please see below for information on the two hockey venues.

The Hockey For All Centre is one of our West Winnipeg Venues. It is located 25 minutes away from downtown Winnipeg by car.
July 29 - August 5 at Seven Oaks Arena
Seven Oaks Arena is one of our North Winnipeg Venues and is located 14 minutes away from Downtown Winnipeg by car.

The athletes' village, opening and closing ceremonies, registration and other activities are downtown, so even though no hockey venues are here, it is still a great place to stay.

The Hotel and Airport District hotels are located in West Winnipeg and are the closest hotels to the Hockey For All Centre.
North Winnipeg Hotels
Seven Oaks arena is close to many of the North Winnipeg Hotels.
